The United States seems to be under the pressure of a new racial war, or at the very least, a new racial discussion, a very hard one. A large number of cases where white police officers shoot and kill black people keep coming out to light every day. I am Colombian and I've never live in the U.S. I don't feel that I have the inside or the understanding of the situation to really help build a debate or to write an article that would call for a serious reflection about the racial issue. However, this past week something else came up. Something that has everything to do with the problem at hand but that is being treated as a completely different issue, the CIA torture report.
